23rd Annual Asian 3 on 3...

Over 1000+ players and spectators
20+ divisions on 10+ courts
3on3 Streetball At It's Best

22 Years In The Making...

2017 - STILL GOING STRONG. The first 22 was nice but as we welcome a new generation of youth ballers to the 3on3, we know it is all of you who have been participating since when you were teenagers that make this 3on3 SPECIAL. Asian basketball is definitely at heights not seen in many years as evident by the number of youth basketball programs in the NYC area. Just recently in May at the NACBA Chinese National Chinese Invitational Tournament in Madison, Wisconsin, two up and coming NYC teams captured the coveted championships in the Boys 15u (I.S.S. FLIGHTZ) and the Boys 18u (AAYC SHARKS) divisions. Add to that the longstanding organizations such as the NYC Sabres/NYC Falcons, Lunar NYC (formerly USAB), NY Rockits AIA, NY Titans, and the Golden Horizon Cruisers - NYC asian hoops is BACK.

This monster of a tournament was born in 1995 at the size of 75 teams. Through the years it has grown to as much as 300 teams. This year, over 200+ teams are expected to hoop it up once again. This summer event is one of the most highly anticipated events of the year. For many of you, this could be the 23rd consecutive year hooping it up!!! For others, this could be your first. Just remember to drop buckets, have fun and make some friends!!!

GET READY TO PLAY - MANHATTAN BRIDGE ORTHODONTICS is proud to once again present the East Coast's BIGGEST Asian basketball extravaganza: the 2017 23rd Annual Asian 3on3 Basketball Championships on Saturday/Sunday, July 22-23 & July 29, 2017. This year's event will attract over 200 teams, 800+ players and 1000+fans, 500+ games, and lots of exciting hoop action.

ANYONE CAN PLAY - Our 3 on 3 is the battle grounds for all ballers. It doesn't matter if you're tall or short, young or old, male or female, a college player, gym rat, street baller or just someone that occasionally plays. Where else can you see your best buddy or dad hustle like he's in the final game of NBA Finals. There's no better time to gather up some friends and play in the 3 on 3. Click onto the division descriptions to see where your team fits.

3 ON 3 - JUST ENJOY - The 3 on 3 basketball tournament is something for everyone. With the help of countless volunteers, staff, and sponsors we're proud to be hosting this event. Regardless of your division, age or skill level, we ask that you, your team and your fans adhere to the basic philosophy surrounding our 3 on 3 - play hard, play fair and enjoy the game, regardless of the end result; try your best and be proud of your efforts; appreciate your teammates and opponents and their performances; so that you may ENJOY YOURSELF.

FORMING A TEAM - Each team (four players) is placed in a division selected by yourself and competes against other teams of the same skill level. Divisions are set up according to a players skill level & playing ability, age, height, etc. (Be Honest - If you are a competitive hoopster, then don't play in one of the fun/recreation divisions). Each team is guaranteed to play at least 3 games (2 preliminary and one playoff). The top teams advancing through the playoff/championship round may play 4-6 games during the day. Individual trophies will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd place teams.

CHOOSING YOUR DIVISION - We want you to choose the division that's best suited for your team. You'll make a 1st choice, 2nd choice, and 3rd choice. We'll do our best to accommodate your selection. Be Honest, don't play in one of the Recreation or For fun divisions if you are also playing in some of the other competitive divisions. Let those that play recreationally, for fun, and who don't play in any leagues or tournaments the opportunity to play against those with similar skills and passion for the game. (We reserve the right to place your team in a division that's more appropriate).

WHAT YOU GET - Each participant will receive a commemorative T-shirt featuring this year's exciting logo. It's a must have for any hoop fan.

Past winners of this division should be playing in Park Baller, Blacktop 1 or 2, or a higher division.

Height will be checked at the tournament site. Reminder, this is for guys with limited hoop specifications. Players playing in the competitive levels should not be playing in this division.(Players considered to be too skilled for this division will be disqualified immediately and no replacement of player will be granted - at organizers discretion).

What are the dates of this year's 3on3?
a) July 222-23, and July 29, 2017.

When is the team entry deadline?
a) All completed entries via the internet must be received by 12pm on July 12, 2017.

Can I play in more than one division?
Yes you can. However, you are only allowed to play in certain divisions. Let me explain.
If you are playing in one of the competitive divisions, then you shouldn't be playing in the Hoosier (Just For Fun) divisions.

If I'm playing in the All Star division, which other divisions can I play in?
a) You can play in one or more of these divisions: Streetball, Blacktop and Park Baller. Seniors 35+, and Masters 45+, Blacktop, Park Ballers, 5'10" Elite, or any of the age restrictive divisions . But you shouldn't play in a division where you are that much better than someone.

Can I play in the All Star division and the Hoosier Division?
a) If you are a player that's really not skilled enough to play in All Star division and just filling a roster spot and your skill level is Hoosier division material then you are eligible. If you possess All Star skills, then absolutely not. If you are playing in the All Star division, why would you want to play against players who aren't as good.

Which divisions are play for fun?
a) The Hoosier division, 5 ft. 10 and under recreation division, Senior 35+ over and Masters 45+ are for players playing just for fun.

What happens if I'm scheduled to play in two separate divisions at the same time?
a) We will not postpone or change any games after the schedule is completed. It is up to you to attend the games.

Does my team need to wear the same color uniforms with numbers?
a)
Yes. It would make the referee's job that much easier.

Can I add or change a player from the original entry form that was submitted?
a) You can add or change a player up until Wednesday, July 15th. There will be a $5 player change fee for each change prior to July 15th. After this date, no changes will be allowed on the rosters/entry form due to injury or any other matter. Teams found to be using any illegal player not on the roster/entry will be disqualified from the tournament immediately.

How can I add or change a player?
a) On the 3on3 page, click onto the player change/add form and download a form. Pay the $5 player change fee online with a paypal account or credit card. Then email it to us in a pdf format so that we can attach it to your roster/entry.
